Anticholinergics for Parkinson's Disease
Anticholinergic medications effectively reduce tremor but rarely affect other symptoms of Parkinson's disease. They can be used by themselves or in conjunction with other anti-Parkinson's drugs. Common side effects such as dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, and urinary retention may occur.
